Excellent event to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Mawdesley Village Hall. Thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended.

Attended the 50th birthday party last night, which included a fantastic band The Symbolics and also a dj. It was faultless start to finish, the staff worked extremely hard and nothing was too much trouble. Despite it being really busy, the hall was kept spotless all night. No waiting time at the bar, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Wouldn’t hesitate to have a function there and can only hope they have these functions more often. Thanks again to organisers and staff.

Had a party here for 100 people and it was amazing! Katharine from the village hall was always very friendly, replied to emails quickly and was very easy to liaise with for party planning. Katharine also arranged table and chair set up, centrepieces and entrance decor and she arranged everything exactly as I envisioned and dreamt of. I am so so grateful and highly recommend this place for parties and wedding events!

We had our wedding here on 29th July. First of all, a very well priced venue compared to other halls. Katharine was incredibly helpful and responsive with the planning of the wedding and we couldn't be more grateful. The hall is a great size with the large hall, a nice lounge and a smaller hall. Not to mention, the outdoor seating in addition to this. Couldn't recommend this venue enough!

What a wonderful place for our daughters wedding, the assistance we got from Katherine and the rest of her team was first class. They made sure our event went really well. The bar staff worked hard to keep us all in beer for the night and nothing was too much trouble.

We have just had our wedding party at Mawdesley Village Hall and it was a fantastic day. Katharine's (events coordinator) assistance from start to finish has been faultless, on hand to assist via emails, meet face to face with queries and assisting with the set up on the day. The rest of the team - Gurby, Tony and the bar staff were also great, our guests complimented the service they received and the facilities at the hall far surpassed what they were expecting when they read "village hall" on the invites. We hired the main hall, small hall and lounge for the day and it met all our needs- we had 120 guests! The bands we used were impressed with the stage space and lighting. We were blessed with good weather and spread out into the private garden area and made good use of the brand new pergola to take group photographs in the corner of the grounds. Katharine had recommended Liz Thompson for catering and her recommendation was perfect. Our guests were so happy with the food and the day as a whole, we could not have wished for a better day. Many thanks to the team at Mawdesley Village Hall!

What a lovely venue this is. We held my Granddaughter’s Christening here last week in the big room which was perfect for around 60 of us. The venue was spotlessly clean and has excellent facilities. The event was organised through Katharine who couldn’t have been helpful, both in her communication and in setting up the room for us. We would definitely recommend it.

Attended a beautiful wedding reception. Great price for beverages and the location was condor nearby hotels.

Had our wedding here a couple of weeks ago, absolutely perfect day. Katherine couldn't have been more helpful with the planning and preparation of the event. We had everything we wanted and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend holding an event here

The venue has recently been refurbished and is lovely with a wonderful outdoor area. Katharine the organiser was extremely friendly and efficient. Her communication was outstanding. The bar staff were also very friendly on the day of the event. We would happily book this for another special occasion. Thanks for helping make our Christening special!
