Furniture looked beautifully made but nothing that 'jumped' out at me

We needed some chairs for the conservatory so headed over to Goodyear's where we had bought a table and chairs some years previously. We were able to see a huge selection of chairs and materials and found what we were looking for. A very helpful and not pushy lady made the visit a good experience.

A lovely store in a rural location. Set on two floors, the upper one largely cane furniture. Ground floor was an assortment of rooms furnished for different parts of your home. The quality of furniture seemed high, the range was wide and prices covered a fair range also. We were not pestered to buy but got helpful friendly advice when we needed it. There is a large free car park. Well worth a visit if you are looking for furniture.

Family run business selling high quality furniture. Very friendly and there to ask questions but otherwise you won't notice the staff and no-one following you around. Happy to keep items for you until you need them or finished decorating. Delivery was exemplary laying felt floor coverings so furniture not damaged when being placed together. Even to the point of swimming a dresser leg because of our differing floor level. Website doesn't do the store justice with so much more on show.

They have got some beautiful furniture, all really good quality aswell. Lovely showroom and staff just left you alone to browse and were helpful when needed.

Since 1998 we have had 2 conservatory suites an have just bought a settee & chair have recommended Goodyear to everyone its a lovely showroom with great service and excellent delivery and will definitely go back Thankyou I absolutely love my furniture.....

Lovely shop, wonderful furniture, but customer service awful. Have waited 9 weeks for my furniture, 3 weeks ago I was told it would be ready soon, yesterday was told it would be at least another month. Could have coped with the delay, if they had bothered telling us about it. Get your act together and talk to your customers

Left to look around and browse in a lovely store. Assistance was at hand when needed. Pleasure to look round and decide what I wanted, had a second visit with other half the following day to decide on what we wanted. Again brilliant service and advice. Thank you.

If you want quality furniture at a competitive price and excellent customer service then visit this family business - G T Goodyears Furniture Centre at Mawdesley. We ordered our sofa and chair in February – when the furniture arrived in store we were unable to take delivery – not a problem just let us know when it’s convenient we were told. We were unable to take delivery until just recently! (November) – storage by G T Goodyear was never an issue – we were never pushed to provide them with a delivery date and neither were we asked to pay the outstanding balance. When we eventually took delivery the corner section of the sofa would not fit through our lounge door due to our small hallway! - several attempts at different angles were made but to no avail – don’t worry we will resolve the issue for you they said, we'll work something out - and they did. After a few hours work back at the store disassembling the corner section it was delivered successfully into our lounge and all rebuilt again. No extra charge – we just want satisfied customers we were told – well we are certainly that! Five star service – well done G T Goodyear Furniture
